36 weeks!

Well, technically today I'm 35 weeks 6 days, but you get the point.

I'm huge.
I'm uncomfortable.
My back hurts like CRAZY- gotta love that sciatic nerve pain.
I have to pee all the time.
And I still have 4 more weeks until my due date...

However, I'm excited to meet this little baby!
I love feeling its little kicks and punches.
I'm grateful to have the opportunity to bear life.

Here are a couple pictures from before church this morning-

I've been pomegranated!

So, I have a deep and abiding love for pomegranate. I think they are heavenly. On Monday I went to the mail box and much to my delight and surprise my brother David sent us a whole box of fresh pomegranite from his in-law's orchard in San Diego. YUM! And seriously, what a good brother.

My latest creation

This is the blanket I made for our baby last week. Of course, it's gender neutral since our baby's gender is a mystery.... any votes on what this little one's gender is? And any good name ideas out there?? HELP! I think we have a girl name picked out, but I'm having issues with boy names.

Fun with bath crayons

We found these "bath crayons" at Target the other day and I thought they'd be fun for Taylor to play with during bath time.

Now, she's decided that she also needs the bath markers that she saw at Target too.... I told her maybe she would get them for Christmas. She proceeded to "call" Santa Claus on one of the crayons and ask him to buy them for us at "the Target."

All mammals have...

Taylor's conversation with my sister on the phone tonight...

T: Hi Marisa.
M: Hi Taylor
T: I'd love to see you!
M: I'd love to see you too!
T: Does Nathan have nipples?
M: Yes
T: Do you have nipples?
M: Yes
T: Does Mommy have nipples?
M: Yes
T: Does Daddy have nipples?
M: Yes
T: I got a new horsie (not really- she's referring to a horsie from Joel's parents last Christmas)
M: Oh really?
T: Does horsie have nipples?

And it went on and on and on. Not sure what the fascination with nipples is, but I'm glad she was talking to my sister and not some random stranger off the street!

Happy Halloween!

My mom made Taylor the cutest fairy princess costume for Halloween this year. When it arrived in the mail, she immediately put it on and declared, "I'm a sparkly PRINCESS!!" She's in this weird phase right now where she won't smile normally for the camera so I didn't really get any good pictures of her. She was making all sorts of odd faces and was playing with her tools.... whatever. Yes, apparently every fairy princess needs her own set of tools.
Taylor went trick-or-treating for the first time this year. Our first stop was the police department because the records folks had some candy ready to hand out to employees' kids. The we stopped at Stacey's house so she and Payton could see Taylor's costume. She was SO excited to see her Stacey. She ran up to her and was yelling, "Stacey! Trick-or-treat!!" It was so funny. Then we took her around a few houses in Stacey's neighborhood and headed home. The girl had far too much candy for one night, ate no dinner, wouldn't sleep, and was wired. Today I told her she can only have one piece of candy a day because too much candy makes our tummies hurt (and makes parents insane too).
