A, B, C, D

So the other day out of the blue Taylor started saying, "A, B, C, D." I was amazed! We have alphabet books (A is for apple, B is for balloon...etc.) but I haven't been singing her the alphabet song or anything. She must have picked it up from Sesame Street?? I don't know but when I was on the phone with my family tonight every time she talked to my mom and my sister she just kept saying, "A, B, C, D, A, B, C, D." Silly girl. I tried to take a video of her saying her ABCs but it doesn't do her justice. Oh well... here it is anyway...

Halloween Party!

Taylor was invited to a Halloween playgroup with her friend Morgan (aka Morgie aka Buddy). They had so much fun playing with all of the toys and other kids! My mom made Taylor the BEST little lamb costume and she is so cute in it!! At this age she is too young to trick-or-treat, so it was good that she had a place to wear her costume. Taylor and Morgan had matching Halloween outfits that Stacey bought for them. They are almost exactly the same size and their hair color is similar so it was a little confusing for them to be in the same outfit.

Taylor LOVED this little lawn mower. Note to self, Christmas present!

They even had a blow up jump thing set up in their yard. Taylor LOVED it. She climed right in and jumped with all of the big kids like she was 5 years older than she is. Funny girl.

And after all that fun.... she was pooped!

Too busy to blog?

I have been a bad blog updater lately.... sorry Taylor's grandparents!! We've been too busy having lots of fun. Here are some pictures from this weekend.

Taylor has fallen in love with coloring. It's great except that sometimes she still wants to taste the crayons or colored pencils or pens or markers.



We found a Pumpkin Patch down the road from us with a free petting zoo. Taylor LOVED it. She was running around yelling, "Goats! Goats! Sheep! Baaaa baaa baaa! Piggies! Oint, oint!" She was SOOO excited and just loved seeing the animals. She even tried to kiss a goat. Funny girl! We went for a hay ride, which she liked but it was a little long. She is so active she doesn't like to sit still for very long.

Taylor is obsessed with balls. I bought this soccer ball for her at Old Navy for a whopping 78 cents! They were having a really great sale!!

She found my slippers and decided she needed to wear them around the house. I love this picture and the look on her little face!!! Doesn't she look so grown up with her piggy tails???

Conversations with a 15-month-old

So I was just getting Taylor ready for bed and she was hyper. I was trying to get her in her PJs and she said, "I sit! I sit! I sit!" so I said, "OK, sit!" and then she said, "NO! I jump!" and started jumping. The hyperactivity kept up during her story time so I asked, "What is up with you tonight? Do you have rabies?" and she said, "Yeah! A baby!" Rabies, a baby, you know, the same thing apparently.
